In accordance with Resolution #35-2010 adopted by the Town Board in January 2010:
Use of the Community Hall or Pavilion is for residents/taxpayers ONLY. Persons renting either facility MUST be a resident or taxpayer of the Town of Wells.
To reserve a date for either location, contact the Town Supervisor's Office at 518-924-7912.
Fee for use of the Community Hall is $75 (Seventy-Five Dollars) and is non-refundable. Fee for use of the Pavilion is $50 (Fifty Dollars), deposit only.
Payment is due one full week in advance to keep the date of the facility open.
All persons renting or using Town properties will sign an indemnity/hold harmless agreement and shall furnish the Town of Wells with a copy of their insurance or a rider on their Home Owners Insurance Policy naming the person(s) and/or entity and the Town as co-insured for the rental period. The minimum amount of insurance will be $1 million dollars when service or consumption of alcoholic beverages is involved.
